i have a Lionel 0-8-0 L & N switcher. L & N is only on the coal box on the tender. i want to change it to reflect the name of my layout, which is BA & P. while this seems trivial, it is certainly beyond what i am capable of. in the past, i would have asked jeff sohn if he could do it, but my last info was that he was no longer painting. i am not sure that this is even painting, but i don't know.
so who does this kind of work?

I believe the project could be a DIY with no painting involved. The original lettering can be removed by a number of methods, then new decals applied to suit your road.

Harry Heike is well equipped to take on this project. Since you have a great sample of his work on your layout, Harry would be a natural for you. He is doing a painting project for me now.
I read that Magic Eraser removes lettering very easily, if that works you can buy your own micoscale decal lettering in different styles and sizes, good luck.
