Thank you Rich. Seems like this was all planned by the powers that be, agreed upon and executed against. It gives us opportunity to see the 765 and other restored engines. I only wish I could catch more of the 765 excursions.

I assume Rich and all the NS folks will create a great plan for 2016.

Those might be the cars that the museum purchased. They were bought from a women in Pennsylvania whose husband owned them and died.

The NC Transportation museum has passenger cars, the VMT has the J, if Norfolk Southern allows the train to travel we could see a joint effort between the two museums. Nothing happens without Norfolk Southern--without permission the J is land locked.

I called the Norfolk Southern and they gave me this address to mail a letter to the president of the railroad,Jim Squires.I assume that a letter sent to either address will get to him.

I wish I would have recorded the speech given during the 611 steam trip on the importance of contacting the president of NS and letting him how much I enjoy their steam program and hopes for it to continue in the future. It motivated me to make the time this weekend to send a letter to him and a few photos from the fun weekend trip.
