Have been using Lionel Wifi  and has been working great since yesterday, now when activated and send power to track and activate engines the whistles blow constant and both lights chatter constant on box and base, unplug legacy WiFi and legacy works great itself. What is degrading signal or is it box failure. Your thoughts?

Well got great service put thru rigors last 4 days ran great and then after hour of usage running multiple trains today and now box doing same thing except whistle not blowing couplers keep firing, disconnect wifi box and legacy is great. Do we have a bad batch of boxes out there? And I love Lionel and MTH and legacy and DCS Amen, ahh growing pains!

Boy I was just thinking about how well the hole wifi was working my kids both have iPhone i think i will have to wait and see how this works out.Originally Posted by dk122trains:

Well Rudy triggered my mind in his post above about interference and I removed my cell phone from the basement when operating the RR and when not near the LCS Wifi box to date I have no issues again and all is good. I am using a Samsung Galaxy 4. Soo stay tuned its worked now for 2 days. A new lesson.

Glad to hear it is resolved! Based on your description, I suspected it was something in the wider environment causing interference.
