Looking to replace this style caboose stolen from operating display open to the public. Caboose must have animated trainman holding lighted lantern who seems to move/bend over the side of caboose's platform as though he's looking over cars ahead of him (or one where trainman moves from one side of caboose's platform to its other side while car is moving along the rails.) Roadname unimportant but caboose must be working. Thanks.

Whoa, no replies yet? Were these cabeese that scarce when manufactured that no forumite has one they're able to part with for a good home while simultaneously putting extra cash in their pocket for future purchasing pursuits at October York or another place?
Not familiar with a caboose where the trainman moves from side to side. Lionel did make one where the trainman moves out from the end of the caboose and waves a lantern.

I have the same caboose that's on ebay. I just thought the brakeman moved from the platform, to being extended out a bit simulating signaling the engineer. It has been a while since I've had it in action so I could be wrong.
Good luck ogaugeguy. If nobody comes up with one, email me in a couple of weeks. I would have to locate mine and check the condition. It is probably like new. I barely used it.
