Why not post your desperate offer in dollars you are willing to pay?

I sense a hint of rudeness in your reply. Got one? Willing to sell it? Email me what you think it's worth and we can go from there...

As to how "desperate" I am, this is a WTB forum on a site where people might have the thing and not be using it. I don't need to go into detail for you or anyone else why it's important to me, but suffice it to say that it carries some significance to me.

OK, so a gentler approach,  why not say what you are willing to pay?  You know what the list price is.

Do you have one to sell? If so, email me. I'm 1) not going to haggle publicly about a price, or 2) going to set a price in a WTB post that limits me- price is dependent upon condition, whether it is still in original blister, whether the power pack is included, etc.

I'll say this: Unless it has issues, I am willing to pay at least original MSRP which was around $42. I'm willing to pay more than that, so long as price is reasonable (I'm not paying triple MSRP) and it is in a condition worthy of paying a premium.

I want to add, though, that it isn't typical to post a price in a WTB thread given the purchaser doesn't get to set prices, the seller does.

If you haven't tried .... Google it .... quite a few hits came up. Baltimore's  MB Kliens / Model train stuff .. on the web, the 100 yr old best shop, good prices shows it as out of stock. last and only of a real first class train shop around Baltimore. don't know of any other around here so don't make the trip just for the sign. Their site is always up to date but doesn't hurt to call and ask

Give Esther's Hobby Shop a call. 219 North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209. It is a N scale store, but they had a brand new one on the shelf as of last Saturday. I didn't see the price though.  Their number is (412) 821-2415.

Rick, trust me, I've done that a ton. I found four places listing it as in stock, none actually had it.

But, I just called MB Klein, they said they put in a request to Miller for these to go back into production, but haven't heard back. They're going to contact Miller to see where that stands. They said they receive calls about this one fairly regularly (makes sense with where they're located). They hope they can get the sign back into production.

Corp, just called Esther's, they had a number of Miller signs, including several out of production, but didn't have this one.

As it is, still looking.

Andrew ..... I here ya .... we both have the same problem ... I have been looking for an Engine for months off and on ... their sites or the MTH product locator says they have it ... call them and they don't have it ... have not had it for months / years..... very frustrating  ..... Next stop TCA York

Good Luck  : )

You better get you one that will fit the building , you are constructing, and that way you're wired up, and the only

thing you would need to do, is pull the electronic sign, off, and put your Sugar ( if found), on it, I truly thought Coppertone

was going to go as the next impossible find,  Wonder what makes them disappear in the order they do !!!
