I didn't pre order so I'm hoping to find one somewhere. Also looking for an LV caboose, just not sure I want the porthole version from Lionel. Lastly my uncle worked for Whitehall Cement Company (serviced by LV) so I'd like to find a couple hoppers of theirs. A LHS did some special runs a few years back.

I've done the same thing. Lehigh Valley stuff is harder to find. The LV had a line that ran right behind my house when it had to skirt around Buffalo to get to Tift St. yard. I have two LV cabeese. One is an MTH Premier and one a Weaver. Both are NE style. The MTH is superior IMO. It couples and tracks better and has more add on detail.

I just purchased the fasttrack necessary for the layout featured in January 2015 OGR. I purchased the benchwork for the 4 by8  layout at York that my grandchildren will build while they are visiting my wife at her summer place in CT.  Setting the track in place in the basement for the kids to start building this weekend.

.
Preorders for me, too ....... 3 engines from Atlas .... that I truly expect to see this fall.

Bad thing .... I had to sell stuff to be able to afford this stuff. I NEED some engines. Lol.

I think I will take a stroll through Nicholas Smith, though ... and buy something that screams out at me, just to get it out of my system.

Good luck. Hopefully the replacement trucks will not fall apart like the recent ones have.

Anyone notice how Bingo Player" always asks just one question & then never returns to the conversation that he himself started?  If you are still "out there" Bingo, just which engine do you plan on buying?
