Hello All. My "York Royal Hotel" arrived today! Have been looking forward to this item based on all the positive comments on this site. I like the concept, and I like what Menards is doing, but the execution, in my opinion, leaves something to be desired. The interior lights are much too bright. There is white paint splatter on various places on the building. The red awning that wraps around the building, next to where the 334 Carlisle sign is located is crooked.....and the 334 Carlisle sign is crooked! The front, where all the front doors are, is crooked. There is a random binding type noise coming from inside the building which is probably some part of the device that rotates the roof fans. I am disappointed with the quality of this item. It is a shame, because as I said, I feel that the basic design concept is good. If I lived anywhere near a Menards, this would go back to them.
