I'm surprised they didn't paint the Santa Fe tank car red and silver. That paint scheme appears to be doing very well. In fact, it appears the 3-dome tank car version sold out awhile back. I think the abundant use of the color red has made all of their Santa Fe cars more appealing and desirable than those produced by other manufacturers. I'll be surprised if Menards doesn't offer a red and silver version in the future.

The black and red Santa Fe tank car matches the black and red K-Line F-3s and Alcos. I'm sure there are many owners of those fantasy engines who will want to add it to their rosters.

I must say, all of the paint schemes are quite striking in their own way. I wouldn't mind adding any of them to my roster.
