Hi Peter, Thanks for posting those photos. I had never heard about those cars - were they resin kits? Or were they sold already built? Your logs look great I had thought about using branches but I’m modeling a pulp wood load, that would be wood around 12” diameter +/-, and thought it would be hard to find straight small twigs, long enough. I’ve been experimenting with dowels between 3/16-5/16 and sanding them to create lots of different sizes. Recreating the bark is the harder part, but I’m working on it. Maybe its time to take a walk in the woods too, just to see if there is anything that would work.
