Bumping an older post, but appears as though no one has replied to you, yet.

I don’t know about upcoming shipments of the 153IR, but I do know that MrMuffins trains and ModelTrainStuff.com both have them in stock for less than MSRP. There may be other shops with stock as well. I have noticed some of the bigger shops have sold out already.
