Chuck & Harmonyards. SUCCESS . The 1st 4 Powered adapter pictures came with the used Legacy Command. It is blue with the Lionel logo. The 5th pictured was purchase on Line to go with the used Trainmaster Command. The 5th pictured Powered adapter is similar to mine that came with Legacy Command.

For some reason the Lionel Power Adapter would not allow communication with the 2-8-8-2. Switching Adapters as suggested and using Code (AUX-74) the Horn sounded immediately. I proceeded with (Engine ID-35 & Set) & (Run) the 2-8-8-2 ran perfectly. Thank you all O Gauge Forum. wavey
