I'm going to walk back my previous post, turns out John was right. A few 253E's were made with 2 position Flip-Flop units. Turns out I had one in my collection and forgot it was 2 position. It is the late Stephen Girard two tone green 'Lake Shore Limited'. An assortment of colors, all original paint.
