As nice as the 2014 Signature Catalog is, I thought the omission of the Norfolk Southern Heritage Series "Veterans Memorial" SD60 locomotive was a big disappointment. 
I would have even settled for the paint scheme done up on the SD70ACe if updated tooling was an issue.
Also... I was hoping to see the return of StationSounds cars for the nearly dozen or so passenger sets with 18"-cars. Half a dozen or so sets were delivered in 2009-2011 WITHOUT them; followed by a 2-year drought of aluminum passenger cars altogether; and another half-dozen (or more) sets are slated for delivery in 2014. Yet NONE of them has had a StationSounds car catalog'd. Guess we'll have to wait another year or two before we see them. 
Should be interesting to see when Lionel actually delivers the 15" StationSounds cars that were "previewed" last year for the Neil Young series passenger sets. That should tell us when/if we may see a similar offering for the 18" cars.
