I obtained a 226e in rough shape to restore without a tender and replaced the trailing truck with one from a 726 or 736 with the drawbar and found a Williams tender which copies the 2426w that came with the 726 for a reasonable price which I use to pull postwar stock. I also have a 226e with the 2226w but the 2226w by itself demands a pretty hefty price.
