3rd Rail Cruise Commander to Add Speed Control to 1998 Vintage TMCC?

BurlOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I have a LIONEL 6-28028 VIRGINIAN ALLEGHENY STEAM ENGINE that has TMCC but not Odyssey. Can I use the Cruise Commander to
provide low speed control as Odyssey does?
