Well that would certainly be a disappointment for me. If they get pushed out too far I may just start hunting for the overland models brass SD40-2's. Passed on one the other day and now I am wondering if I should have just done it. I know they are only available in 2 rail. But it is looking more and more like I am going down the 2 rail road. And sticking with second hand brass as so much of what is currently available is not meeting my expectations as a whole. And it seems that many of these 3rd rail projects don't get enough pre orders to be made in a timely fashion. I have no problem spending 1.200 on a locomotive But so much of what is introduced from the major makers is unnapealing to me. I love atlas products but there is no counting on there products being here at any point on time. Lionel makes some strange choices that make me uninterested in them and I have yet to see a single MTH locomotive I would consider buying. I don't quite understand why in this scale they make 20 different versions of large articulateds but no decent SD40-2's? Or GP40-2's GP38-2's I could go on. I just find it baffling that the interest isn't there. Eh that's my incoherent rant for the day. Let's see what happens
