I look at this scene, and think "why isn't everyone a railroad enthusiast? !!" Brings back memories of Burlington fan trip locomotives taking water at the water plug at the Aurora, IL station in the 1950's and '60's. Those locomotives included 4-6-4's #'s 4000, 3003 and 3001.
