I've been teetering between re-attempting a 3-rail layout or trying my hand at s-scale. I guess I've made my decision. I ordered my first car - an Atlas Trainman Santa Fe Single-Sheathed 50' automobile car. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a deal on other regional roads - MoPac, Rock - and I'll be on the look-out for the Atlas / MTH cars. So far, everything I've seen on the market has mostly been 2-rail. I'll start single-sheathed and then add in some steel and double-sheathed - gonna try to keep my era to around 1940-1942.
