Carl,

I own this set, and it only came with the dummy O gauge slip-in coupler. I really wish they made a scale coupler, too, for those who wanted to run it with the original but didn't have the money for an original Rail Chief set.

The problem I have with is not so much the manual not being available on Lionel's website, but if you lost this coupler, there is no replacement part available. For some reason, mine got lost, and I had to make a new one myself. It does the job, but I wish I had the original one.
