No, for an a 9V battery, you need to use two of those in series!  As long as you use quality supercaps from the same batch, you don't need any diodes, just wire them in series.  I use AVX or Nesscap brand from major electronic supply houses, the Chinese knock-offs on auction sites are less consistent.
