7' vy 10' Fasttrack Layout

Hi all, I have for the top level of my layout I have a 7' by 10' flat surface. I plan on having an outside loop using 48 inch curves. I want to stick entirely with Fasttrack as that is what the lower level has. If I create that outside loop using 48 inch curves. Will I have room on the inside for another track? I would like something other than just a "loop" on the inside. I like the class toy train look and maybe a figure 8 or dog bone if it can fit. Can anyone describe what I can fit for the inside track?
