A couple of first-timer questions.

I have the pass for my first ever York meet. In preparing for the event I have a few questions. Any help is appreciated.

1. If I want to buy used "modern" stuff ( I will be looking for a steam engine and maybe a US Army car or two ) where should I go?

2. I usually keep notes on my iPhone. I have heard that phone use is not permitted. Would that apply to reading notes from my iPhone notepad prior to making a purchase?

3. Will most vendors take (PA) personal checks? I don't like to carry a lot of cash.
