Be very very careful!  Many times you'll buy something you don't have on your list, then you'll find you'll NEED that set of freight or passenger cars to go with that engine.  Or you'll find some nice rolling stock and realize you NEED a locomotive to go with them, oh, and maybe another few cars to add on too.  And watch out for those tempting and savory accessories!!

Brian ,

I have several advantages with me. I grew up around the C&O,B&O and Pennsy  but I dearly love the N&W and living down here now I'm sticking to N&W and maybe just a little Virginian that narrows the playing field a lot .
The second advantage I have is I'm bringing my ASLD that's Automatic Spending Limiting Device.... My wife

We've already discussed a budget for the 2 engines and the cars I'm looking for and are keeping my limit to around 3 grand. I know at York that'll be like bringing a nickel to a poker game but that's my limit . Doesent matter I'm still going to have a blast and the plus is I get to meet all of you guys . What else could anyone ask for?

Now if I win that lottery? I'm just going to walk into the orange hall cup my hands and yell "I want 2 of everything"
