Reply to "A Fun Day at The Southeast TCA train show"

Steve, thanks for the pictures.  I miss the SE shows.  I spent 11 of my 37 Army years at Bragg.  I attended many of the TCA shows starting with the Sears meeting hall in a Raleigh mall, circa 1978.  That's where I met Al Rucchio and many other old time TCA members like Rudy King and Grandville Tillman.

Some shows were in Spartinberg (sp) and various other halls before the fairgrounds Scott building became the standard.

Tommy Daniels, Fayetteville, attended many of the later shows with me.  He was both a Lionel wholesaler and retail reseller.

I learned a lot in my early collecting endeavors from the fine members of the SE division.
