On the Leonardtown and Savannah, the port of Savannah is the large employer and workers take the commuter rail from surrounding towns and even just from the main city area down to the port.  However L&S suburban service is not always frequent enough, especially now with the war on and the huge demand to move people and goods straining every piece of motive power they have, so some of the locals use the street car service to get home at the end of shift.  Its not as fast but the street cars run about every 15 minutes so there is little wait. Today we see the tail end of the port's day shift trying to get home for supper.
