Mike, a little tacky wax on top of a cork works great'. Just stand or seat the figure on the wax. You only need a small dab... I tries every other possible method over the years. The corks are the best and the easiest...........

You can use the top or the bottom of the cork'.. either way, both will work for you'.. I got a bag with 100 of them on Amazon for a couple of bucks...😃
