Coach Joe. Yes the dam is mostly for electricity production mush as a lot of the dams in Tennessee and Eastern KY were which were built during the war effort of the early forty. You'll notice on my dam their is only two turbines which is probably more than they had but served the purpose. Oke ridge Tennessee depended on these small dams to supply there needs.
