Hello Fendermain - from the sound, or lack of it, on your video, it sounds like your gateman is very quiet. Is he? Are you running him on DC? Or is the sound just covered up by the delightful clickety-clack rhythm of wheels hitting O gauge track joints?

GeoPeg Thanks for asking...very quiet. It is currently running with track voltage...insulated rail trigger. Unlike some of my trackside devices, that one responds well to different voltages. I may go to soleniod activation fixed voltage with a wiring revamp next year.

The sound provided by sectional tubular track is to me quite soothing.

Hey Arnold..possible topic..how do our forum members activate trackside devices.
