"Quite pricey" is an understatement. As with many such items, it was grossly overpriced. Using the inflation adjustment, $90 in 1992 is the equivalent of $153 today. As to that Trains Ltd. pricetag of $180, that's probably left over from the wild speculation days back in the early 90s.
