That is normally the job of the sequencer in the tender. To make it run in the other direction first look at the 4 terminals on the back of the cab, consider them 1,2,3 and 4 from left to right. Jumper 1 and 2, apply power to 3 and 4. Cross fingers no smoke appears, observe rotation.
