The previous posts were right on the money in comparing laser cutters to color printing! Since the last post was from 2018 a lot has changed in this technology in 3 years! And smaller home use ones are under that $500 mark. Back in the 90's I owned a printing company and we had a $20K+ laser cutter/engraver. I am starting to look for one adding in scratch building, but balsa, basswood, foam board is tedious work and for some reason I don't consistently cut accurately by hand! I would love to see some updates as to what others are doing with this technology.
