All PS3 installed in an Atlas engine.All working except leds which i havn't figured out yet.

I would like to use the original mounted led lights in the atlas shell and connect them to the PS3 led connecters. A quick voltage ck at the ps3 led conn gives me anything from .16 to .68 depending which conn i am checking[ck made while ps3 lights are on and just hanging loose]. Is this a series pulsed dc set up?

Can i remove the atlas regulator boards and wire in somehow with out loosing DCS command of the lights or am i better off using a voltage source with dropping resistors that probably would negate DCS light commands?
