Reply to "All Time Favorite Photos"

The Wabash Decatur shops are in the background.  I toured them when I was in the Cub Scout in the 50's, great memory.  Our Cub pack took a train from St. Louis and returned the same way in a coach provided to us by the railroad.  The coach was dropped off in Decatur and picked up again when we left.

 

I was in Decatur for a Thanksgiving in the early 80's and went back to take a look.  Although this F7 was in sad shape, it has been restored in Wabash colors and is at a museum in Illinois. 

 

The picture reminds me of happy some days.
