Jimmy, I and most other sellers I have seen manage to show the bottom side of locos cars etc without stacking them or laying on track. You end up with very small contact patches of metal on metal or metal on plastic where the weight of the item is concentrated and more likely to damage the item.  Even a sheet of cardboard between the pieces can go a long way towards preventing damage.     j
