I have a mix of incandescent and Led bulbs on my layout and think LEDs are ok for certain items. For example I prefer an led bulb in my ZW and Z transformers as the incandescent 6 volt bulbs tended to burn out too often. As Don pointed out I prefer the look of incandescent bulbs.
