You're right about the kitbashed Bachmann coaling tower serving as a small mine tipple. Those are just barrels on a rack though and not a barbeque. We treat our little employees good but not that good.
It took me a while to get used to how carefully some readers peruse their magazines. I had a question from a reader once about my source for a certain freight car in a photo. Turned out that he had spotted the car even though only a tiny portion of it was visible 5 yard tracks over from the scene I was really shooting.
It's very satisfying to know that people are reading and examining photos so thoroughly. It really keeps the author (and the editors) on their toes.
