First, the AM gondola is not the same prototype as the DPH one. Gondolas, like any other freight car come in different lengths. The AM gon appears to be modeled after a Santa Fe 52' (buffer to buffer) gondola from the 1950's. The DPH gon is of a contemporary prototype with a 52'6" interior dimension.
