I noticed that Tru-Color TCP-844 is a flat finish yellow. I'll admit I don't have any experience with the brushable colors, but one thing I've noticed with these kinds of paint is the final finish can really affect the look of the color. Have you tried a layer of semi-gloss over the TCP yellow?
