Really a minor event - but a colleague who's a passenger on the train says the locomotive on the southbound Amtrak Palmetto struck a tree a few hours ago near Enfield, N.C. He said the locomotive was damaged - no injuries - and that they were waiting, as of a couple hours ago, for a freight loco to rescue the train.
