I guess it's easier to put a 10-12 car Silver Meteor on a siding instead of a 100+ car freight. Perhaps that is why a 43 car Auto Train is rarely late.
Some of you might say "What's the rush?". In my case, with the Cresent, instead of the 7:32 pm arrival time, it is a real pain to arrive at midnight or later.
