An odd surprise from Lionel - L2043141 Chessie Standard O Gondola...

I ordered this mainly for sentimental reasons since its made from the classic 1970's STD O Tooling that originated from Pola. This is what I started out with in the early 90s with new Lionel purchases. But I was even more surprised that its made in Vietnam. Must be one of the first Lionel products sourced from Vietnam. Quality is first rate. I am definitely aware that Vietnam is rising as a new source of high quality model type products. What impresses me most is that Lionel made this switch and still got the product out right on time. That is the sign of a well run company that can adapt quickly. Please see quick photos I snapped.
