JOSEF: WOW! FANTASTIC documentary, with lots of old friends: Grady Ragan. Robert M. Soule, George Walker, Tim Andrews, Steve Freer and Shane Meador! I had several cab rides in the 4501, and even got to fire her on one occasion on the SR portion of the former TC on an Autumn Leaf Special. My longest cab ride in the 4501 was a 30 mile segment of the former L&N main between Murfreesboro, TN and Nashville The late Robert Soule and Paul Merriman along with Graham Claytor, Jr were responsible for the restoration of the SR 4501 and the continuation of the BEST steam program fielded by any railroad.
