Reply to "Another Lionel Substation Kitbash"

My opinion, but I have always thought that Lionel Substation was one of the very best of their building kits offered in recent times. As is, a nice and convincing building for smaller layouts that might not have space available for something larger.

And as Ken has shown here, also a great candidate building for some kit bashing. Just as with the classic Plasticville building kits, I enjoy seeing what creative projects people come up with using those.

It is just not possible for the manufacturers to appease every nuisance and desire, and that includes structures. The reality is that larger buildings (be they kits or pre-assembled) simply don't have the same sales potential as do ones with a smaller footprint.

Which brings me back to what Ken has done here:  A smaller footprint structure that works on its' own as is, OR can be modified to be something larger to meet the desires of folks who have the space and want larger buildings.

Great job Ken!
