Reply to "Any Idea How to Mount LionChief Wireless Controller to Layout Surface"

OK.  I've finished a design and completed fabrication.  Some of the above suggestions really helped.  Photos AND drawings attached.  This is a pretty complex design, but solve a number of issues for a public children's layout in the museum.  Must keep controller fixed to the layout.  Must not have any sharp or snagging edges or corners.  The controllers are powered from a supply, not a battery, so the power switch needed to be inaccessible to children.  Needed to limit throttle knob rotation to protect the internal throttle knob stops.  (Will also limit speed range but this was not a goal since speed is being limited electrically as needed on this layout.)  Access for a museum docent (but not a child) to select an engine if using a universal remote (which retain programming after power-off but NOT the last engine number 1, 2, or 3 selected).  Adequate access to the bell, voice, and horn/whistle buttons.  Easy to replace (remove bars, unplug 2 pin connecter underneath, lift out controller).  The upper notch in the top bar insures the throttle knob inner diameter won't rub on the bar and also allows a little more than 180 degree rotation.  The two lower notches in the top bar are not functionally needed, but expose a little more of the bell and horn/whistle buttons and draw a little more attention to them.  The center bar is not used with a dedicated controller and small aluminum filler pieces are used in the center bar notches - this allows all of the graphics on the controller to show.  Aluminum was given an Alodine finish (gold color).  See attached photos and drawings.
