I even bought three food items from Amazon that I could not find in our local stores.

Yeah, we buy a low-sugar Lemonade my wife likes that the local groceries stopped carrying, and some rice that is hard to get from them.  I figure in a few years I can get rid of the car 'cause I won't ever need to go shopping - just order it from Amazon!

If you get rid of the car how will you get to the gas station to buy...........OH!

Never mind.

If I need any for the lawnmower, no doubt Amazon will deliver it!

Thanks for the link Alan Rogers.

I am heartened by the interest in this.  I think the Sears houses - and the other kit houses of the period, too, but mainly Sears because a mass-retailer selling them is just so cool.  I really wish someone would do a series of kits of four of five - I'd buy them all, but I am going to make one or two from scratch.
