Reply to "Any word from Lionel regarding the recent Legacy sets?"

I purchased a legacy set.  The whole set.  Yes cars and engine not only had working problems but cosmetic.  Sent the whole set back to lionel. 3 weeks later I got a call saying we cannot fix these problems.   the technician said there are way too many.   I said to lionel , " how can you not fix something you made. That makes no sense".  They said we can try our best but certain things such as the casting for the engine we can not and we do not have the parts to replace it .  This set was still under warranty.  It shows that they have been slacking on manufacturing products.   They would not give me any compensation either for all the trouble I went through with this set.   It's such shame
