Sad... It seems just like yesterday I rode those cars on SEPTA routes 6/15/23/50/53/56/60. I think I asked before but has anyone ever done the Blackpool/Birmingham boat cars in O scale? If so, likely not in the USA "loaner" scheme for the bicentennial.

I'll cherish forever the childhood memory of that frigid fall fan trip all over Philly on the boat car. No problem that we didn't get a KCPS PCC for the afternoon part of the trip. Sadly, I was armed with only an Instamatic 20.
