Anyone have experience with MTH PS3.0 scale wheels recent productions?

I have a couple MTH from 10 years ago that I have had converted to 2 rail and installed DCC. But what are the newer issues with PS3 and their scale wheels like? The side frames were far apart on the ones I have to accommodate the 3 rail wheels and I would guess that hasn't changed. How do the new issues compare to Sunset and Atlas 2 rail deisels? I have a set of each. The Sunset is the smoothest and most quiet with Atlas a close second. My old MTH converts have a much noiser mechanism. Is the Ps3 DCC an issue or works like any DCC loco? Scale wheels correct profile? Many thanks for any info.
