I don't have on but I added tmcc ERR conversion to a die cast tender and the tender shell blocked the signal also what I had to do via info from legacy station was add black electrical tape around the base of the tender so that the die cast shell didn't ground on the frame that worked I also put the tip of the antenna out a small hole on the bottom of the frame. never had an issue with signal maybe you can do something like that.
