Reply to "Anyone make a model of Conrail RS3 #9920 (Hammerhead)?"

I was just wondering if any manufacturer has made a scale model of Conrail RS3 #9920, one of the few "hammerhead" RS3s built for the Pennsylvania Railroad with a raised short hood to house dynamic brakes and a steam generator for heating passenger cars.  (Formerly PRR #8445, then PRR #5569, then Penn Central #5569, then Lehigh Valley #211, and finally Conrail #9920).

The survivor still lives in a museum near Rochester, NY.

It's an ugly engine but very cool in its own way. I would love a model of it painted for Conrail #9920.

Thanks.

Interesting. The text is the above link mentions a Mr. David MonteVerde who help procure this engine for the Museum. David is now CEO of Genesee Valley Transportation which has a number of short lines, one of which is the Depew Lancaster, and Western. Lionel and now MTH has done their pair of RS11s.
